Abdullah AlRasheed

Research Specialist

Center of Excellence for Green Nanotechnologies

Research specialist majored in Material Science and Engineering, Graduated from KFUPM. Currently employed by KACST Joint Center Excellence Program (JCEP) under the Advanced Training Program (ATP). His research focuses on the design and fabrication of 2D nanomaterial for optoelectronic devices, the design and fabrication of the semiconductor nanomaterial is majored on the transition from a non-direct to a direct band gap due to Quantum Confinement effect. Abdullah also specializes in micro-Raman spectroscopy (operation, analysis and maintenance), Nano alignment exfoliation transfer and electrochemical cell design for Titanium nanotube synthesis. Abdullah is the Laboratory Supervisor and Research training instructor which involve training new employees, designing the experiments and supervising investigation operation.
